Resources & Assistance

Limited funds are available to assist with the out-of-pocket costs for brain health and wellness activities for those most impacted by the tragedy at Sandy Hook School.  For a list of frequently asked questions about eligibility and how to submit claims for coverage, please click here – CRF Fund 11.2017 FAQ.  Funding is provided through the Sandy Hook School Support Fund and other partners including the Newtown Lions Club, the Rotary Club of Newtown, and the Newtown Memorial Fund.

For assistance and referrals to local providers, please call the Newtown Center for Support and Wellness at 203-270-4612.

We received feedback on our most recent survey about families who are struggling to explain the Sandy Hook tragedy to children who were not yet in school at the time or who have moved to Newtown since the tragedy. The Resiliency Center of Newtown (RCN) has developed programs to help families discuss this with their children. Please call RCN at 203-364-9750 to learn more.
